dermaviduals is excited to launch a new skincare serum in Australia. The Complexion Skin Care Liposomes Plus is designed to even complexion and reduce skin redness by inhibiting melanin formation and stabilising peripheral capillaries. Vitamin B3 Niacinamide inhibits the transfer of the melanosome to the keratinocyte, which improves skin elasticity, enhances skin barrier function, helps improve skin discolouration and revives the skin’s healthy tone and texture.

Niacinamide increases ceramide and frees the fatty acid content of the epidermis. It also decreases TEWL and increases dermal microcirculation.

For even complexion and reduction of skin redness Complexion Skin Care Liposomes Plus is designed to even complexion and reduce skin redness by inhibiting melanin formation and stabilising peripheral capillaries.  It contains tranexamic acid – a synthetic analogue to the amino acid lysine, it is better known in the medical field for its use in the treatment of controlling bleeding in trauma patients.

It prevents the activation of melanocyte from UV light, hormone, and injured keratinocyte through the inhibition of the plasminogen activator system, this means that there is a benefit of its use in pigmentation skin conditions. Vitamin B3 Niacinamide inhibits the transfer of the melanosome to the keratinocyte, improves skin elasticity, enhances skin barrier function, helps improve skin discoloration and revives the skin’s healthy tone and texture. Niacinamide increases ceramide and free fatty acid content of the epidermis, it decreases TEWL and increases dermal microcirculation.

Niacinamide also serves as a precursor of NADH (nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide (NAD) + hydrogen (H)) and NADPH, (Nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide phosphate) which are co-enzymes essential for numerous metabolic pathways and play a key role in metabolism of glucose, cellular energy production and synthesis of lipids. The levels of these co-enzymes decrease with age and topical Niacinamide appears to reverse the decline. Niacinamide is also an excellent antioxidant and anti-inflammatory.
