MINK hair & beauty has been established for 10 years in April 2016. They are located in an old butcher shop & corner store building away from the hustle & bustle of the central retail precinct and are lucky to be close to 2 high schools, the local TAFE College and hospital. Their team is currently made up of three therapists and Nicole, owner of MINK, describes them as amazing! “They are always willing to go over and beyond their duties. Their dedication over the last 12 months has seen MINK grow. It has been my vision over last couple of years to nurture the skin side of my business and I am hoping that 2016 will be the year to officially become ‘Skin Solutions”. ”
“My inspiration comes from many sources. Social media, magazine articles, my team of passionate therapists and clients, my business coach & networking groups of professional women within the beauty industry”.
What do you value the most in your business? “I would have to say loyalty from my team members and their will to continually educate themselves to be the best therapist they can. I also value our clients as without them saving skins would not be possible.”
“Since becoming a partner with dermaviduals we have achieved growth which I believe has been through the amazing support received from dermaviduals. Having regular visits in salon from Brittany where she provides training & support and face-to-face conversations with the girls in regards to queries or client concerns has been invaluable. Nothing seems to be too much trouble for anyone at dermaviduals Head Office. As Simone says “we are here to help” and that they are.”
“My favourite product at the moment is Lotion N. I have only recently added it to my skin care program I am loving the hydration it is lending my skin.”
“Our industry is constantly evolving with new products and machinery. It is vital to keep ahead in what is happening. I would have to say research is the most important factor along with trialling the product or modality and then making an informed decision. You must also believe in the investment you are making.”
What is your number one skin care tip? “My number one tip would definitely be sun protection. I think this is the most valuable product to have in our skin care routine.”
Lily Campbell, therapist at MINK hair & beauty, recently participated in the TAFE Riverina World Skills Competition for Beauty Therapy.
